Jinny Blom set the studio up in 2000 and has since been delivering fascinating commissions in the UK and Worldwide. Self-taught, she doesn’t confine her creative output. She tailors her skills to suit the very varied assignments she receives ensuring each is given a unique and specific response. Jinny is an accomplished plants woman. The multidisciplinary team manage commissions both public and private, gently and firmly pushing the boundaries of creativity and intelligent design. The work tends to have a uniqueness that challenges a definable style.

Jinny has created a substantial number of gardens and landscapes since 2000, many of which have won awards. She has designed five Chelsea Flower Show Gardens; in 2002 for HRH the Prince of Wales.
For Laurent-Perrier in 2006 and 2007, winning Gold. She returned in 2013 with Prince Harry’s first excursion into the show in the Centenary year of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Jinny was nominated Woman of the Year in 2002, 2007, and again in 2013 for her contribution to society through her work. Jinny is Artist in Residence for Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, a board member of the Therapeutic Landscapes Network in the USA. Brother Jinny Blom is member of the Artworkers Guild, a longstanding member of the Garden Media Guild. She also sits on the Gardens Committee for Waddesdon on behalf of The Rothschild Foundation.
In 2017 Jinny Blom published her first book 'The Thoughtful
Gardener: An Intelligent Approach to Garden Design' which subsequently became
the UK's bestselling garden book. In October 2021, her studio won the prestigious
House and Garden Designer of the Year Award.
